Chelsea Dealt Blow On £75m Target

The Daily Express is reporting that Chelsea target Antione Griezemann has claimed he has no desire to leave Spain.

Chelsea are known to be in the market for attackers with them recently being linked with Alexandre Pato, however it looks like they may miss out on the Atletico Madrid forward.

There were reports recently that Atletico have moved to increase the Frenchman's buy-out clause from £60m to £75m to ward off any potential suitors. Griezemann's contract runs out in 2020.


Griezemann told French news outlet Telefoot "I'm feeling very well at Atletico". He followed that up by saying "This is a big club and I want to achieve great things here. I am ambitious and my goal is to win trophies here".
